Living Well Health Master: A Better Way To Eat Healthy

June 18th, 2010  |  Published in montel williams recipes

I had been aware of Montel Williams and his celebrity, but I wasn’t a huge fan of his show, nor did I avidly follow his career. I did know he was very public about having multiple sclerosis, which I found mildly interesting since my best friend was diagnosed with that disease in the early 1980′s. I live in the Northwest United States, where it’s pretty hard to throw a rock without hitting someone with MS.

My attention changed, though, in 2005 when my husband was diagnosed with MS. Now I needed to know more about the disease and just how to live with it from day to day. I looked for information on the internet and eventually stumbled across Montel Williams’ web site.

Williams believes that moving to a healthier diet and lifestyle has helped him alleviate some of the pain that is a part of having multiple sclerosis. Toward that, he’s developed his Living Well programs and products. His goal is to provide the tools needed to eat right, get fit, look great, and feel spectacular.

One area he’s really gotten into is health eating. He has developed – or had developed for him, I’m not sure which – healthy, easily prepared foods. In fact, for one of the products, Living Well Health Master, he’s adding 4 recipe books as a bonus for the purchase of the product: Appetizers & Dressings, Smoothies & Power Drinks, Desserts & Ice Cream, and Soups & Sauces. There’s also a bonus book, Super Slim Me, so you can get started on that weight loss program you’ve been promising to go on for the last how many months/years?

The recipes prove that healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring eating. Just some of the recipes included are for a delicious Italian fondue that includes sun-dried tomatoes, ripe tomatoes, garlic, basil, and provolone and mozzarella cheese. Believe me it’s restaurant quality. There’s also a squash soup, a fruit tart, sorbets, and even Williams’ own recipe for fresh ginger ale.

If you think eating healthy means chewing on a stick of celery or a carrot, you have a very pleasant surprise coming.
